Message from the President of Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Holdings
Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Holdings is a corporate group operating beverage business that marks the largest revenue※not only among the Coca-Cola bottling companies in this country, but in the whole of Asia, and also the third largest among the 250-plus Coca-Cola bottlers around the world, along with healthcare and skincare businesses that are all pursued through a “community-based” and “customer-centric” approach.
Since the inception of Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Inc. in April 1, 2017, the group has been seeking to establish a firm platform for future growth by continuing its transformational process to fully integrate the organizations and businesses of its subsidiaries and sub-subsidiaries with a sense of speed, based on the underlying corporate principle of operating as “one company under one management”. From January 1, 2018, Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Inc. has changed its trade name to “Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Holdings Inc.” to clarify its new role as the holding company and start anew under the new organizational structure designed to further drive the growth of the entire Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Holdings group.
Going forward, Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Holdings seeks to meet the expectations of its shareholders and investors by increasing its corporate value and return of profits through the ongoing integration process geared to yield a total synergy effect of 2.5 billion yen by 2020 and reach 6% or higher in return on equity (ROE) as targeted in its mid-term business plan for sustainable revenue growth titled “Growth Roadmap for 2020 & Beyond”.
Through our endeavors for further growth and development pursued under the theme “Beverage for Life”, we will continue to strive at becoming an excellent company with dignity that can consistently provide high added values to all our stakeholders consisting of consumers, customers, shareholders, communities, and employees by delivering products and services that meet the diverse needs of all ages in widely varying occasions.
