Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Holdings Inc. has achieved inclusion in the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) for the Asia Pacific region for the sixth consecutive year. The DJSI is a globally-recognized ESG investment index. This year, Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Holdings received high scores for its Environmental Policy & Management Systems, and Water, etc.
The DJSI, a collaborative effort between the S&P Dow Jones Indices and SAM, annually conducts the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) targeting approximately 3,500 major companies worldwide. The assessment evaluates companies in the areas of Economy, Environment, and Society, to identify those demonstrating high sustainability. As a global benchmark for ESG investments, the DJSI plays a pivotal role in selecting key investment targets. The appraisals serve as the standard for selecting key investment destinations as a global index for ESG investment.
