Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Holdings Inc. (CCBJH) is pleased to announce that it has achieved 100% childcare leave utilization (for periods exceeding one day) among male employees as of the end of 2024.
Based on the new People Strategy developed as part of efforts to strengthen its human capital, which is one of the key components of its strategic business plan, “Vision 2028”, CCBJH is initially targeting 100% childcare leave utilization among male employees by 2025. The company surpassed this goal ahead of schedule, reaching 103.8% in 2024. This achievement was driven by initiatives such as mandatory three-day paid spouse maternity leave introduced in September 2024, alongside other ongoing support programs.
Going forward, CCBJH remains dedicated to promoting diverse work styles, enhancing employee well-being, and fostering an inclusive corporate culture. By leveraging a diverse workforce, the company aims to drive innovation, enrich lives, and achieve sustainable growth with increased corporate value.

Since 2019, CCBJH’s President & Representative Director, Calin Dragan, has hosted Calin’s Café, an internal forum fostering direct communication with employees. In 2024, the event focused on childcare leave, providing employees who had taken leave an opportunity to share their experiences and discuss ways to enhance workplace support.

・Papa Apron Program
Since 2019, CCBJH has distributed "Papa Aprons" to male employees whose spouses have given birth. This initiative encourages fathers to actively participate in childcare. Each apron, personally handed over by a manager with a supportive message, reinforces the company’s commitment to a culture of shared caregiving. As of November 2024, over 700 Papa Aprons have been distributed.
