Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Holdings Inc. (CCBJH) has achieved the highest A List rating in the Water Security category in the 2025 sustainability survey conducted by the international non-profit organization CDP. This marks the third consecutive year CCBJH has earned this distinction.

CDP's annual corporate sustainability survey serves as the global standard for environmental disclosure. In 2025, more than 22,100 companies worldwide participated. The CCBJH Group’s initiatives in water security were comprehensively evaluated, contributing to its recognition this year. In the Climate Change category, CCBJH was placed on the B List.

■ Initiatives toward water security
CCBJH identifies challenges in its plants’ water sources through scientific surveys conducted by a specialized agency and the Coca-Cola system’s Source Vulnerability Assessment (SVA). Based on these findings, the Group formulates a Water Management Plan (WMP) and implements disaster countermeasures and replenishment activities at plant water sources. In addition, CCBJH works with 61 organizations, including 27 municipal governments, in 15 watersheds surrounding all 17 plants to conduct replenishment activities.
