Notice of the Appointment of an Additional Representative Director
Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Holdings Inc. (the “Company”) hereby announces that Maki Kado, currently serving as Executive Officer and Head of Executive Office of the Company; Executive Officer and President of the Food Service Company, Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company; Chief Business Strategy Officer of Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Inc.; and Representative Director and President of Coca-Cola Customer Marketing Co.,Ltd. has been nominated for appointment as Representative Director and Vice President of the Company, effective March 26, 2026.
This appointment is subject to approval at the Company’s Annual General Meeting of Shareholders to be held in March 2026, followed by formal resolution at a meeting of the Board of Directors.
In her role as an Executive Officer of the Company, Ms. Kado has demonstrated strong leadership in driving transformation across business strategy, sales, and procurement, and has made significant contributions to the Company’s sustainable growth. Upon her appointment, she will become the first female Representative Director in the Company’s history. Leveraging her extensive leadership experience, Ms. Kado will lead initiatives to achieve the ambitious goals set forth in the Company’s strategic business plan, Vision 2030.
