Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Holdings Selected Again as Constituent of FTSE4Good Index Series, FTSE JPX Blossom Japan Index, and FTSE JPX Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index

Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Holdings Inc. (CCBJH) is pleased to announce that it has been selected once again as a constituent of the FTSE4Good Index Series, the FTSE JPX Blossom Japan Index, and the FTSE JPX Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index, leading environmental, social, and governance (ESG) investment indices (Note 1).

These indices are created by global index and data provider FTSE Russell and assess companies in areas such as corporate governance, health & safety, anti-corruption, and climate change. These indices serve as benchmarks measuring the performance of companies demonstrating strong ESG practices. They are widely used to create and assess sustainable investment funds and other financial products. Companies included in these indices are considered to meet a variety of ESG criteria.

The FTSE JPX Blossom Japan Index and the FTSE JPX Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index are used by Japan's Government Pension Investment Fund (GPIF) as benchmarks for passive ESG investment. With this selection, CCBJH has been included in the following four ESG indices adopted by GPIF (as of September 2026).

•    S&P/JPX Carbon Efficient Index 
•    Morningstar® Japan ex-REIT Gender Diversity Tilt Index^SM

In March 2026, the Company updated its non-financial targets, CSV Goals, adding new long-term targets for 2035 in addition to its medium-term targets for 2030. The Company is also strengthening the foundations that support a sustainable business, including ESG management and human capital initiatives, to achieve the goals of its medium-term management plan, Vision 2030.

The Company will continue to make efforts to solve social issues through its business activities and contribute to the realization of a sustainable society.
