Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Holdings Inc. (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; headed by Representative Director & President Calin Dragan; hereafter “CCBJH”) has announced that it has complied its initiatives that align with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in a document issued as the new CSV Report 2019 and disclosed it in its official website (https://www.ccbji.co.jp/csv/doc.php) on Friday, June 28.
CCBJH believes that the company is responsible of addressing the social issues as its business grows larger in scale. The United Nations positions corporate organizations (i.e. companies) as one of the key entities that should take actions towards resolving the social issues to achieve the “Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)” established in 2015. CCBJH Group perceives “CSV (Creating Shared Value)” as a key driver of its business management and is promoting group-wide actions to contribute to the realization of sustainable future.
The report focuses on 3 priorities; “Health”, “Environment”, “Community” that are particularly relevant to CCBJH’s business activities, as well as on 5 other important aspects: “Customer Satisfaction”, “Quality assurance”, “Ethics & Compliance”, “Risk Management”, and “Respect of Human Rights and Job Satisfaction”.
